An Accessory Definition Page For Common Terms
Below are some of the terms we have found that can be classified for the LapDawg, however each term represents a slightly different variation of the same theme. Currently there is no term or word that can accurately describe the LapDawg™ as it is a unique product, however the term we like to use is a straddle desk which is a new and more accurate desciption of our design.
"A term to describe a niche type of desk that is designed explicitly to hold laptops on a large surface with drawers & shelves intended as a workstation with accessories such as chairs & extended keyboard trays."
"A definition that caters to two types of laptop accessory.
1) An accessory designed to hold laptops on an angle, similar to a desktop monitor on a table or desk, transforming the laptop as an acting desktop computer.
2) As an accessory that independently holds a laptop computer on a stand or pole making it either a portable laptop table or static table depending on the design. Some versions are designed solely as a vehicle laptop stand like you would find in a police car."
